At 14,000 you are about 2,000 over where you probably should have replaced them if they are the MAX Perf Summer Only tires, like my '09 A4 came with (Dunlops).
I barely got that out of mine, but they were great while they were young.
I put 19" Yoko Advan S.4's (UHP A/S) on my '09 -- replacing the Dunlops that came with it -- they are great -- and a great compromise here in SW Ohio where we have only moderate winters, typically.

I have had great experiences with Falken's -- for the price. But you need to know, going in, that the Falken's have fairly short life-spans too, but, IMHO, their price mitigates this trait, for the most part.
Falken's, typically, priced like a Cross Pen, look and perform like MontBlanc's, but, like Bic's, they wear out pretty quickly.
