I wonder if you get the USB adapter interface, does it supply any power? If so, then we can buy a portable drive and use it. That would be very awesome... Well, if it can suppy power to ipod why can it not supply power to a portable hard drive w/usb conection? It would be lot better than ipod. So, are we limited to 500 folders per 500 songs?

It says in the manual you can and many people have....but there's a 4000 file limit so getting a huge disk is a waste of money :-(

I picked up my A4 on Saturday, I loaded music on a new 8gb micro sdhc card w/adapter and it plays fine with no errors.

I have a 2010 A4 Prem Plus with Nav and SDHC WORKS! I have a 16GB card which worked. I added more than 1000 files, however there seemed to be a 1000 file limitation when I scrolled.

just split the music i some less than 1000 files folders and it'll be fine, you could name each folder with the genre so it'll remain well organized

My SD GB card has .m4a audi files. They are not playing in my 07 RS4? Do I have to convert these files to mp3s? or other audi type?
