Thanks just ordered a SD card
the one I used to use, I put it in a digital frame so I just ordered another one from Amazon for less than $7 - Kingston 2 GB SD card.
They should have put a SDHC reader not just SD..

Re: SD card slot in Audio
Has anyone had success in getting an 8Gb SDHC card to work with the slot/radio?
Also, is there a USB cable one can attach in place of the iPod connector in the glove compartment?

Re: 8GB SDHC, MMI Connector
And yes, the manual has pictures of compatible MMI cables that have a USB connector, iPod connector, 1/8" headphones connector, and at least 1 more type. Of course, there's no telling how much the stealership will charge, but at least they're available.

A guy who took delivery recently is claiming that he's successfully used a 16Gb card. He's being pressed to provide software details, card details etc.
I'll post news if it turns out to be true/reproducible.

It's now becoming more and more common for people in the UK to find that SDHC card works.
The key thing seems to be whether you have SW300 or above. The lastest cars have SW310.
Does help me for now as I have the SatNav... but at least when I get my 2010 with 3G MMI, I can't see any reason why it won't work.
Perhaps some of the latest US owners could give it a go...

Updates on SDHC/SW310?
Has there been any news on this? I'd love to just load everything on a 16GB card and forget about the antiquated MP3 player (at least, in the car)....
