Default Season of Audi

Hi,

I know Audi financing is offering to pay the first months loan payment. My question is do all dealers automatically partake in that, or would some opt out for any reason?

You are financing through Audi Financial - they are the ones who are making the deal, not the dealer.

I'm considering a new A4 and was planning to pay cash for it. The dealer told me I could finance it at $1000/month, get Audi to pay the first month as part of the Season of Audi special, then pay 3 months on my own at which point I'd be able to pay off the remainder of the loan. The way I see it, this would save me about $700 on the price of the car ($1000 from Audi minus ~$300 in interest that it would cost me to carry the loan for 4 months). Does anyone have experience with doing it this way? It sounds like a good deal, but I might be missing something.

Also, does anyone know if a new promotion typically replaces the Season of Audi promotion when it ends on January 5th? Is there something equally attractive around the corner?

The dealer I am planning to buy from said the deal required at least a 36 month term, but another dealer I was working with said he could work a very short loan to push the monthly up to maximize the payback. I don't know who was right, but it's not that big a deal to me either way.

I know the promotion ended yesterday but can anyone here provide me with all the terms/exclusions for it? PM or post here if so.

Greatly appreciated!
