Default Short Armrest?

I am not the biggest guy but I find that I cannot pull the central armrest forward enough to support my arm comfortably. If it could pull forward an additional 3-4" or was 3-4" longer, it would suit me fine.

Anyone share this with me? Anyone know of a solution?

I am 6'3" and have the armrest all the way back with no issues. How tall are you?

5'9" and I keep it all the way forward. OTOH, it is likely that my seat is a lot farther forward than yours is.

I cant imagine someone your size having an issue with the armrest. I would've thought you were 5' 2" or something since it sounds like you're moving the seat all the way forward.

Maybe there is something you can buy to put in the cupholder that you can rest on?

Cute idea. I think I may remove the lid and see whether it can be modified.

I'm 5'9" and it's a little on the short side for me - all I can rest on it is my elbow and a couple inches of arm. I DO drive with "proper" position where my wrists can touch the top of the wheel, etc... If I eased the whole thing back I think it'd be fine.

EDIT: actually sat in the car and paid attention. If I fully rest my arm, the armest to totally fine. But I almost always have my right hand on the wheel - thus it only makes it to me elbow

Right. I like to have my arm forward so that it is easy to grab the wheel without additional movement.

Right. Both hands on the wheel for 40 minutes through the construction on the Major Deegan.

I have the same issue with the armrest. I'm constantly checking to see if it is in the forward position.
3 or 4 inches would do it.
