SI: Audi A4 2.0 TFSI - OIL CONSUMPTION FIX!

Ok. So, I've recently bought a 2013 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro.
The car was mainly driven in the city, on short distances.
When I got it, on longer extra-urban trips, the oil consumption averaged 800-1000 ml per 1000 km.
Ironically, I had the same(-ish) engine before in a GTI, and never topped the oil. Naturally, I got a bit frustrated.
This may not work for everyone, but thought I may share this solution since most people are complaining about the oil consumption but a very few share their fixes (which not include changing the piston rings).
WHAT I DID:
was pretty simple.
1. LIQUI MOLY ENGINE FLUSH with the old oil (5w30). Left the car running for about 15 min.
2. Drained the oil - added a cheap oil to clean the engine. Left it running for 15 mins with random accelerations.
3. Added thicker MOTUL X-Cess 5w40 oil.
4. Added LIQUI MOLY CERATEC to the fresh oil.
5. Try getting an engine decarb* - didn't do this yet, but should help.
With this, I got the oil consumption down to 250-300 ml per 1000 km. Which can be considered "decent", considering Audi's 1.5L/1000km is "normal".
Hope this helps somebody!
Cheers

That's great to hear. I'm a little over 100K miles on my 2013 A5 2.0TFSI, so I think I'm going to try the Liqui Moly Engine Flush at some point. The car didn't burnt a drop of oil until recently when I switched to E85 and Liqui Moly Molygen at the same time. I'm not sure if it's the oil or the E85, so I'm switching back to Mobil 1 0W-40 Euro to see if it's the E85.
If anyone has a flex fuel version, with the metal intake manifold, I highly recommend E85. The car is super smooth and has a lot more power. E85 is also supposed to clean the insides as well. If I ever get a scope, I'll take a picture and share here.
