Seems to always stay on below 41F. I've seen this on both the B7 and B8. And I've driven in -5F.

I think it was better the way it used to work on the B5, only "ON" between -5 C to +5 C.

It meant that there was possibility of a mix of ice and water on the road, but I supposed it was too complicated for some people to understand, so now it only indicate the possibility of ice...

Same here, it was -10 degrees C (in Seattle, can you imagine?!) and the snowflake was still on.
