Exactly. Totally worth it for me. Worst case, I buy a Nuvi and use that too...no loss.

Hear hear. That plus the backup camera made it totally worth it. Less nervous about wife's nervousness about parallel parking now :-)

Well, I got one and it can't do that. Nothing in the setup options that I can find.

Default Hmm, that does look like perspective view to me too. Isn't the Nav in 2009 A4 the same as in...

the 2008 A5, A6, etc.? Do they have perspective view?

Default Does the map rotate as you turn vehicle (icon faces up), or does the map always orient w/ up =North?

In overhead view, of course.

It's an option in Nav settings. Very easy to toggle on the map too on the fly.

Sorry, I should have been more clear in the last post. That was taken from RNS-E. And as I've said, I wasn't sure if it's the same with MMI.
