Default Softer ride than s-line, but with s-line ride height...

When I order my car, I want to get the S-line package because of the less wheel gap, side skirts, and nifty interior features. I was wondering how soft/harsh of a ride the s-line package is. Is it the same suspension that will be in the S4? I was wondering if I could achieve sport package softness while retaining the ride height of the s-line package.

The ride quality (or lack thereof) with a "sport" suspension is delivered by both the shocks and springs in the package. Those shocks and springs are always "stiffer" than a standard suspension. The springs are what lowers the car and, almost without exception, all lowering springs are "sport" siffness. I suppose you could get a factory sport suspension and then swap out the shocks for some cheap soft as butter Monro-Matics from Sears. Test drive a sport suspension Audi - it's nothing to be afraid of! Also be aware that Audi is playing some tricks with "S-Line" lately, some models are "S-Line" in cosmetic trim only, not suspension specifications.

I didn't comment - I'm pretty sure the S4 has a more severe suspension compared to the sport suspension installed on other lower line Audi models.

S-Line and Sport Package have the same suspensionn.

S-Line is a 'real' package in 2009 and 2010, at least thusfar.

Don't be afraid, S Line suspension isn't harsh at all.

Car is always lowered with Drive Select? Also, same lowered height as with the stock sport package?

Dymanic is -20mm from standard regardless of the mode it's in.

Exactly. ADS provides variable rate dampening at a constant ride height. It's not an air suspension.

The beauty of ADS is that it provides the ride height of the lower sports suspension yet dampening rates can vary from even softer than the stock suspension to even firmer than the sports suspension when needed/desired.

It's very expensive, but it provides the best of all worlds and sounds like exactly what the OP is looking for.

Isn't the s-line slightly lower than the sport, or is that just an illusion created by the side skirts?
