Default Suspension information.

Nothing really new here. (Not really sure why they say three alternatives, but then mention four.)

"Three alternative suspension systems are available on the 2009 Audi A4.

Standard suspension 1BA represents the basic version.

A sports suspension (1BE) is optional. The sports suspension has a .78 in (20 mm) lower ride height than the standard suspension. Different springs, shock absorbers and anti-roll bars are used.

A suspension system with electronic damping control(1BL) is available as a third variant. This suspension has the same ride height as the sports suspension.

quattro GmbH offers an S-Line sports suspension with the designation 1BV."

<b>"Electronic damping control system 1BL is available for the 2009 Audi A4 in combination with Audi Drive Select. This suspension variant is based on sports suspension 1BE." </b>

Default I think the 1BE and the 1BV are the same suspension bits, the only difference is packaging.

Hence there's three suspensions available, one of them called by two names.

Default True. Makes me curious about the 30mm lowering mentioned on the DE site.

Horrible internet translation.

"S LINE sport chassis quattro of the GmbH with more dynamic chassis vote and setting lower around 30 mm."

Default

It will still be too high, so I'm skipping the Drive Select and just going for adjustable coilovers

Default Yeah, and I read on UK forums that Audi stopped letting buyers spec 30mm drop with 19" wheels.

But they can still get the 20mm drop with 19" wheels.
