not sure what tint to get was thinking about 25% on the front two and 20% on the back. Also I will have black interior any suggestions?

in addition to my '08 s4 avant, i have an '08 mcs mini cooper with a sunroof. the sunroof is just like the a3 sunroof.
i installed "ceramic tint" on the sunroof windows and all windows except the front windshield. ceramic is magic. i live in california's central valley, and we have a lot of hot days and a lot of sunshine. this stuff is so effective that the feds are considering requiring on new cars in the near future.

They're not the greatest, but here are some pics from ours, pre-delivery. The tint is 35% all around. Don't be alarmed by the 4x4 ride height. It's settled to normal proportions now.

B-Town

I have an ice silver A4 with black interior and went with 28% smoke at my dealers sugeestion and love it. They did front/rear back window and sunroof in the same and it really keeps the heat done.

the only reason i was thinking 20% is I kinda like only being able to see the shape of someone on the inside during the day

I think that 20% should accomplish that. I usually go with 35% when I get my cars tinted. I just got my '10 tinted 35%. In yesterdays rain you could only see the shape of someone, but in todays sun you can sort of see the shape of someone inside. I was actually afraid 35% would be too dark since I have black interior, but it's not. I'm happy with it. I've been meaning to post pics, but just haven't been able to take any as of yet.

Pics would be amazing with the black interior seeing thats what mine will have. Not sure with the black inside how dark the 20% will actually look
