This is how Audi set it up in Europe.

Live and learn! I thought the "wink" was the same all over the world. I didn't realise on the NA cars it actually turned it off!

I have done these same mods and also display the gear in use (both in drive and sport mode), disabled seat belt chime (though I always wear them) and have made the MMI hidden menu accessible (allowing the state of battery charge to be displayed in the MMI).

There is a FMVSS that must be followed here in the US. Not sure on the Audi, but there is a specific distance from center of turn signal bulb to a specific brightness of headlamp bulb or in this case, LED DRL. It is possible that the distance is too close on the Lamp module to meet the US FMVSS.

Once you enable the remote to open/close your windows via VCDS you need to go into your MMI and look for a new setting and enable it there as well.

Default some help please

I was wondering anyone has done the front and rear foglight with high beam mod.

I went it to [09 – Cent. Elect.] [Coding - 07] -> [Long Coding Helper] ->
Byte 4 Bit 1 - Change 1 to 0 most have the check boxes for the code and the fogs dont have that option.

I tried changing the code manually in the binary but it returns with code not accepted. I'm new to Vag Com coding and understand what byte/bit needs changed but dont know if I'm missing a step.

any pointers?

Thanks
