I'm pretty sure I have this problem on my new A5
I just picked up a 2010 A5 Premium S-line last week and notice that every time I'm parking and turning the wheel at low speed it's almost like the power steering cuts out for a split second. Very annoying. Going to call the dealer right now.

Do they have to remove the steering wheel to replace the hose?
The reason I ask is that I noticed two deep scratches in the leather on my steering wheel recently, and I am sure that I did not cause them.

I so appreciate this thread! I have the problem and it's at the dealer now and will be fixed tomorrow. I gave the info to the service advisor and he had the part ordered before I brought it.

Sterring wheel judder during parking or very low speed
I have same issue. Noone could help me about it. Is there anyone who face the same problem and solved it somehow? I am really desperate about it. My car is A5 quattro 2.0 tfsi 211hp 2011 model. I uploaded the video about problem.

I changed the power steering hose. Dealer told me that it was updated a few years ago. %90 of problem solved. But it didnt gone torally. Now i feel the judder little bit when turn the steering wheel and if i am not moving. Also yes i hear the sound when i turn right more then left. Expecially if the ground is more sticky, it is raising. Also steering wheel is getting too hard when i getting slower. I am thinking that maybe these both problem can be solved by changing the sensor of steeringwheel.
