Our 2006 Jetta GLI inspection with VW credit, same as Audi Credit, was a nightmare of nickle and dime charges. The inspector was IMHO dispatched to extract every possible penny from the poor lessee.
I had my 20090 Audi on order.
My wife turned in her last Audi on lease termination in 2007 and I don't remember a problem.
Maybe VW lessee's get third class treatment. Maybe in this ecrummny they want to put the screws in at the end. I don't know.
I still love my new A4.

Is it just me or did any of you see that commercial where the hyundai is all over the road? They put emphasis on "racing" and the driver losses the *** on every corner. Due to my age I was surprised I wasn't thinking "omg coooool" the first thought in my mind was "wow, this car has no control, all that power wasted."

Hyundai was neither cheap nor retarded in their marketing strategy..
They used the name Genesis for both cars intentionally because they are trying to "reboot" public perception of their product.
It's working.

I can't agree. Using the same name for two cars dumbs down the nicer (more expensive) car. And it causes constant confusion at the dealership with customers, with orders, paperwork, amongst staff- everything needs to be clarified an extra time. Example: Customer X walks in and tells the salesperson, "I want to test drive a Genesis." Mr. Salesperson is going to have to ask, "the coupe of the luxury sedan?" Customer X says, "uuuhhh... the what?" So are we off to a good start yet? Not efficient one bit.
Case in point, when Nissan introduced the Armada, they called it the "Pathfinder Armada" for the first model year. Didn't work. Next year they dropped the "Pathfinder" from the name.
Hyundai is on the up and up for many other reasons, but not for the new Coupe's name. Genesis is nice, but there needs to be more to it.
