I would like to put some 16" (I have a new set of 16" tires off our last vehicle) snow tires on our new 2010 A4 and I need to know what years will fit on the vehicle. The bolt pattern is 5x112 but is there a difference in the hub diameter? I measured the hub diameter to be about 66mm. Thanks.

Previous gen A4, along with pretty much all other Audi & VW's had 57.1mm hubs. That being said, I've heard that 16" wheels won't fit the new A4 due to the size of the front rotors.

16" wheels will fit on A4 B8. At least in some of the european countries the car is delivered with 7 x 16" or 7.5 x 16" wheels as a standard.

The bolt pattern is 5x112 as it is in the previous A4 models (and other Audi models as well) but the hub diameter is 66.6 mm when it was 57.1 mm in the previous A4 model. So the wheels from previous A4 models nor some other Audi models do not fit.
By the way, Mercedes has the same bolt pattern and hub diameter as A4 B8, if you would like to but some Mercedes wheels on...

There is a 16-inch five-arm design winter alloy wheel from Audi Genuine Accessories and it includes the centre cap. The part number is 8K0071496A 8Z8.
