Re: Whats the best deal you can get on a 09 A4 2.0T Q Under Invoive?
I just got quotes in the last week from 4 dealers in the San Diego area for an 09 A4 2.0TQ, Premium Plus with Metallic paint, 18" Sport Package and Wood.
Dealer 1: $ 200 over invoice
Dealer 2: $ 750 under invoice
Dealer 3: $ 827 under invoice
Dealer 4: $1074 under invoice
Shop around. There's a big difference between dealers. Ironically, the worst offer was from the dealer that I purchased my 02 and 06 A4's at. I guess they don't value my business.

Does invoice include advertising fee, dealer prep or other fees not listed on KBB.com or Edmunds?
I'm still puzzled how they are willing to sell this car for $1000 under invoice when there is no official holdback or dealer incentive.
I'm not complaining about it, just wanting to know how they do it and keep the lights on in the showroom.

The $ 1,074 under invoice was without wood and was $35,997. The lowest with wood was $36,617. Financing was the same on all; 4.9% for 60 months through AFS.

Re: Does invoice include advertising fee, dealer prep or other fees not listed on KBB.com or Edmunds
I was told "Unofficial holdback" from one dealer. Apparently some dealers seem to have more clout with Audi. This is the same dealer that is selling my lease buyback to me for $2300 less than residual plus discounting the CPO certification by $650.
The invoice price is from Edmunds, so doesn't include advertising fee if any. These were quotes received through internet so can't say if they would try to jack up the price with dealer prep, etc. Never got into actual negotiations as I was offered too good of a deal on buying my lease return.
