My older Volvo has smooth plastic liners and it also drops a lot of slush. I don't think treating the liner will have much effect. The only solution is to stop and brush most of it off before going into the garage.

Is there perhaps something that I could spray onto the liners to make them water repellant and therefore avoid the accumulation of snow/ice?

Thanks in advance!
I am with you on this 1. I am from Ohio and I have a lot of slush and ice inside my tire Wells. This summer I was thinking about getting thin strips of plexiglass and using a heat gun to conform it to my wheel Wells. I think that will help a lot.
