Why Did you choose the A4 over the 328xi or C300?

I was just going to ask about that. It seems like a lot of people are complaining about that. You are probably getting harshness from the runflats without any improved handling over regular tires.
How about a non-sport BMW 3 with run flats against an 18" sports pack A4. How would they compare in terms of ride and handling? Anyone knows?

When I service my 335i I'm frequently given a 328i non sport loaner. Here's how I would rate their respective suspension compliance from softest to firmest:
B8 A4 non-sport
E90 328i non-sport
B8 A4 18" sports package
E90 328i/335i sports package
B8 A4 non-sport
E90 328i non-sport
B8 A4 18" sports package
E90 328i/335i sports package

When I shopped for my 2010 A4, I looked at the vehicles mentioned here, as well as the Acura TL. At the end of the day, the Audi was the best value for the $$, and offered the proper mix of options at the price point I was looking for.
My wife didn't like the BMW 3 series, too small inside, and the ride was too harsh. The BMW and M/B C class both had trunks which were too small for my needs (I sometimes carry equipment). The Acura also had a small trunk, but the Audi was the most comfortable inside, and I still think it has the best ride.
7 months and 9000 miles in, I am still VERY happy with my A4...my only disappointment is the dealers service department-they don't seem to be on the ball, but there are two other dealers nearby.
Good luck!

I bought my A4 because I wasn't keen on buying a BMW although I thought about the 5 series pretty hard!
And Mercedes was out due to the attitude that would go along with it from co-workers. Nows not the time to show yourself. The A4 is the loaded Honda, as I say to everyone...... Maybe when the economy is better the E series might be the next bet....

Be sure to buy two of them so you have a car to drive when one is in the shop. My wife's '07 R350 was in the shop 3 full months during the 2 years we owned it. I have a friend with an '08 GL450 and another with an '08 E350 and both have had similar reliability issues. What a headache...
