I have a noise/rattle coming from the rear passenger side. I also have the window shades installed which i think is what is causing this problem.

The 1st time it occurred, I took it in and they made some adjustment that took care of it. About 6 months later it starting occurring again and tech could hear it but saw nothing to fix so he just put some felt or foam in the door which took care of it. Now, 2 months later it is happening again.

Has anybody had this happen? Any idea what the cause/solution is before I take it in?

Yepp - have two different sqweaks/rattles.
One in the driver's B pillar area that's a clicking type sound - learned to drown it out with music.

Another in the rear passenger area that only happens when going over speed bumps, etc... prob related to the strut or spring.

The cause: it's an Audi!

This probably isn't your issue, since I have a B7 (getting my new '12 soon) but I fold down the rear seats often and if I don't push them back hard enough when putting them back up, they don't latch completely and I hear a rattle coming from the back seats while driving.

Just a thought to check that.
