Hope that helps.
Thanks for the reply- looks GREAT!

When I leased my A4 last year I researched window tint law in NY. The legislature was reviewing a proposed law to make window tint an inspection requirement. I never followed up to see where that stands.

I like the look but have no time for traffic stop hassles.

I did not tint and try to park in the shade at work. Garage is at home.

So I've been thinking Huper Optik Stark 30 all along, but now I'm thinking maybe Llumar CTX 30. Anyone have any thoughts on the two?

^I don't have any experience w/ Llumar but I absolutely love my Huper Optik. It looks classy (ie not too dark) and keeps the heat out very well (which is important here in Houston). It seems to have a greenish hue at certain angles and I don't know if that has to do w/ my meteor gray paint or not, but it matches my car's body color perfectly IMHO. It is pricey tho.

Thanks for the reply, ItsDubC! I've been seeing some stuff online with Llumar having just released the CTX line (ceramic) and that a lot of places are offering it at a deep discount to get it moving out in the market. Since it's still so new I haven't come across too many pictures of it, so I can't really speak for it's look compared to HO's. I know that HO has a VERY unique and classy look to it. But I'm wondering if the extra couple hundred dollars (potentially) is really worth the difference.

Tint away- you can always have the tint removed when you turn the car back in. Though, I doubt the dealer will care.
