Default Xenon Lamp go out in 70 seconds

When I turn on my A4, Xenon Lamp (passenger side) goes out in 70 seconds.

I managed to install new Xenon bulb (Philips D1S) , but this problem still happen.

Should I ballast?

Thank you..

Maybe you made a typo? You shall use D3S not D1S.

Thank you. I should buy D3S, not D1S. I need to change it.

Which side of car is this photo? The bulb says D3S 35w on the bottom here? Is this not the right one?

The D1S bulb is impossible to fit into a D3S bulb holder without modifying the bulb base. Did you do anything unusual like forcing it in?

Don't be a fool like me and replace only bulb or ballast. Replace both. When 1 goes it degrades the other.

I was fool, because I bought D1S and had a hard time to attach to the body. (Some online shop recommend to buy D1S)

Thanks to your advice, I checked broken Zenon and it was D3S.

After D3S, the turn-off problem was solved. Thank you.
