Default 034 Motorsport Lowering Springs Alignment

I had my springs installed here at a local euro shop but I took it to the dealership to get my alignment and they told me I have to get my sensor re-calibrated and keep in mind I don't have adaptive cruise control. I am assuming its the pre-sense sensors? Am I required to re-calibrate the sensors? The local shop here that installed my springs said it isn't required but I want to get some more info from people with the same experience to see if it is worth to get my sensors re-calibrated since its a whopping $750 at the stealership.

Yes I would consider it needed. If you have a near collision and the pre sense system cannot react, you really would have wished you got the calibration even if you didn't get an accident. Peace of mind in my opinion. Expensive as it is.

You don’t need to get any sensors recalibrated. Don’t take it to Audi after you’ve gotten your car lowered. Get alignment done at a garage outside. Audi is trying to milk you.
My presense works perfectly and my car has been lowered for almost two years on 034. Got alignment done at a shop outside for one tenth of what Audi wanted. Presense works the way it should and didn’t need any “recalibration”.

Have either of you heard any squeaking from your rear 034 lowering springs?

Nope. I’m at 12k miles with my 034 springs and zero squeaking or other sounds, *touchwood*

I am having the noise. I’ve read a bunch of people are having it with a thin and inconsistent way to mitigate without replacing with another brand.

I think that’s my plan. I like the idea of the adjustable springs (not coilovers). Fingers crossed

I've had the 034 springs on for roughly three years. No noise whatsoever. It may be an installation issue. How long have you had them on?
