Default New Wheel

The airbag seems to have pinched some of the wires behind it, so I’ll have to fix that another time as it’s not sitting right now and the horn is stuck on, but it looks pretty good!

It's always on, the wiring diagrams mark it term 30. If you needed switched 12v, there's no term 15 in the steering wheel. There's very little term 15 in the current platform at all; most everything is "managed" regarding power state.

For example, what is that term 30 powering in the wheel? The controls. But the controls' electronics is LIN bus connected to the car, so it doesn't need 12v on/off to control power usage; it'll get sleep/wake commands via LIN. Why not just term 15 power them? No idea. I doubt they are expected to be functional with ignition off.

You are right, I did end up using those for power and the shift lights turn off after the car is turned off. Weird question, but do you have any ideas on why my 1-touch windows would stop working after this? I know it’s a very vague question and I haven’t looked into it too much yet but only the front passenger 1-touch window function is working now. I may pull the codes later (if there are any) and create a new post if you aren’t sure. Sorry, I know this is very vague for the moment.

If you disconnect the battery (or disconnect the door control module from the battery supply), the door control module may or may not lose the window auto up/down stops. The reset process should be in the owner's manual. Believe it's roll the window down and hold the switch several seconds after stop until you hear a beep; repeat with the up direction?
