i belive the "ZZZ" is used on parts of the car that were manufactured before the actual packages are decided, so it's a placeholder of sort. I wasn't aware that a final production car could retain the ZZZ as part of it's official, final VIN. Maybe it's country specific in requiring a more detailed VIN and for those that don't, they don't bother assigning a more detailed one?

Yep, the ZZZ are audi internal cars.

In North America, that means we use them for training cars and press cars. They cannot be sold to the public here. They must be crushed when they are done being used.

Does that mean it's not a good car? It has components for single use?

I assume a test car has not passed certifications to be legally sold, so has to be disposed of.

in europe, all car have ZZZ in vin number.

Exactly. in Europe all Audis have ZZZ in their vin number. My old B8 had also ZZZ and current B9 has ZZZ.

Ah, ok. That makes sense as to why the training cars couldn't be sold in the US at least.
