In my opinion, i'd have to disagree with you and say we're missing a step here.

It's much more efficient for Audi to produce all with the same tech and disable them via coding.

Except for the other optional things like ACC and such.

I agree, we might be missing a step it has to have those sensors, I know at least the g-sensors are requiered for other system parts... the power ones are just simple calculations...

I wish that were the case, but it isn't. In some areas this is true, but not all. For example, there's an entirely different part for heated steering columns. Unlike on previous chassis, it cannot be coded on/off on the B9. Other examples of this exist throughout the vehicle.

When it comes to powertrain, the routines in the modules supplying the data to the infotainment bus simply do not exist.

I hope this is true and someone can figure it out. I've searched and can't find anyone who has made the G-meter work on a B9

Why would anyone want to read or do any looking and comprehend previous posts especially from someone who actually knows things? 😂

If I trust anyone's comments it would be yours.

Are you a former VAG engineer? If so I have a very deep technical question for you...

I agree! Just that some people can be quite thick headed! They're right and the former Audi engineer is wrong. Lmao. SMH

this is why i vote for the ability to have a thread/post "stickied"

i'm sure most basic things have been asked and the correct answer has been given but it's hard to tell unless someone really digs through the piles of threads we have of the same thing lol.

but yes, i do agree with Dizzy, whenever i see a technical query, i usually await for your confirmation.
