i'm sure most basic things have been asked and the correct answer has been given but it's hard to tell unless someone really digs through the piles of threads we have of the same thing lol.

but yes, i do agree with Dizzy, whenever i see a technical query, i usually await for your confirmation.
We need a wiki or other peer-derived list that highlights coding/adaptation modifications and allows users to indicate whether it worked for them or not. At work, for example, we have a code review system that allows colleagues to "up vote" changes, essentially peer vetting before merging into various build branches.

If we had something like this for coding, you'd know it worked before you potentially introduce incompatible changes.

I'm not a powertrain guy. My focus has always been on vehicle lighting, infotainment, and driver assistance.

Feel free to PM. I know others who are, and I can put your questions to them.

Sorry, I must have missed the memo about you being a former VW/Audi engineer.

I don't think we circulated a memo, but I did reply "it isn't possible" to a few folks right before you replied with "I hope it is possible." That's all.

Found these two on a TT forum, has any one been able to get it to work on a B9? I couldn't find the right place to do the coding:

-Disable automatic reset for the auto high beam assist
Unit 9
Access 31347
Adaption
find in the menu "channel 5 assistance light functions-Fernlichtassistent reset"
Change to not active
Now everytime we turn off the car and then on, the high beam assist will remain active
sometime can happen that the car reset the control anyway but the symbol auto is still on

-automatically car closes by itself when we close the door with engine and ignition off, only for advanced key
The lock is partial, limited to the doors and doesn't activate the alarm
Unit 5
coding
byte 2
enable bit 4 (close with slamming door)

security access 20103
Adaption
(5) internal_passive_entry_exit_....door_slam_lock change to active

doesn’t work, we don’t have the options.

I successfully modified my 2018 SQ5 with the lane assist feature. What do you do when you bring your car in for service? Revert so they don't notice or not worry about it?

Default Any chance to enable ECO mode?

Thanks so much for sharing all the hacks.
Just wondering if it's possible to enable ECO mode in US spec A4?
Still do not understand why they disable it here. Some of us do want to save gas in bad traffic....
