The dealer finally got back to me and confirmed what adg44 said above. The Technology package isn't required to order the Sport Plus package.

He didn't get an answer to my other question, which was "Can I get the black optic package ?".

Please note that the Quattro traction is not enabled full time in the manual transmission model or the allroad. Kicks in when necessary.

...and there is absolutely no difference in driving dynamics, and now you have the benefit of fully variable torque distribution. If Audi hasn't said the quattro system was different, no one would know because they drive exactly the same.

Sorry, you are very misinformed. What I have stated above is correct. Please drive both systems and then decide for yourself. I promise you won't be able to tell a difference.
