Default 2019/2020 map update

Hi all- My 2017 Audi A4 B9 is no longer eligible to receive map updates. The latest one I have a license for is North American 2019 / 2020 update. Can someone please upload files for the map since Audi USA no longer lets you download them for free? I've tried updating to 2020 version and was unable to do so

I was told my car had a spare tire, so we were both screwed.

Just to give everyone who may still be looking for maps an update on this. I was able to download the maps by creating an account on Audi Canada site using my VIN and an ExpressVPN connection based in Canada. They have a Java tool that you can use to download any map you want. You can only update the map for which you have a license, which in my case was 2019/2020.

I do not know if it is different in Canada but AFAIK you can no longer download the map package from the Audi web site. The only option is to download from the car. The frustrating part about that is that It seems like you are limited to about 3 regions which does not get you the entire country (in the US).

From the Audi USA website

Map updates

Audi owners of certain 2017 models and all 2018 or newer model vehicles should attempt to update their maps OTA (Over the Air) within the vehicle. Those owners without in-vehicle OTA capabilities should contact the Audi Customer Experience Center at 1-800-822-2834 (800-822-AUDI).

I've uploaded the 2019/2020 map here. It's the last on that will work on 2017 vehicles.

There is also a download tool there in the folder, which is from Audi Canada website. Map is the same by the way - works in my car in the US.

They're bringing it back to US sometime next year, but it might be delayed. So far the Canada trick may be good enough for me.

I was going to do this when I found out about it, then just totally forgot about it lol. Thanks for trying! I will do this now.

EDIT: I just tried this and myAudi CA won't let me add my VIN. I verified that my VPN is indeed connected to Vancouver, so YMMV.

Thanks for this. I just downloaded the 2019/202 NAR Region maps. Now, before I try this, has anyone with an early 2017 B9 successfully updated their maps with this? Thanks.

It should work @A4Driver , just make sure the files are in the root (MIB1, MIB2, 02310022.md5 and metainfo2.txt).
