I just picked up my 2017 A4 Quottro premium yesterday. I drove it about 20miles. I felt inside was warm even I didn't use A/C, outside temp was 58F.

When I open the engine cover, the engine was hot. You can see around engine there are heat insulator installed to protect plastic part.

Does you car run same hot? My 2017 Q5 is not hot like A4.

After driving for 20 miles your engine will be hot. As will every single other car on the road.

Engines get hot. Some overheat when you don't move far in warm weather. Your car is likely fine.
