You have to replace all the LEDs if you want colored lights. There's no way to recode it to activate colors.

I have the aftermarket kit from Aliexpress. The kit comes with pre-flashed modules. Have found the coding for the MMI menus. However the menu to change the interior (line) LEDs is missing. Only the contour (surface) LEDs can be changed. The available color profiles such as as impulse red, ocean blue can change all the light colors at once.
