Anyone have the B9 wiring diagrams, Heated Steering wheel
Anyone on here have the B9 diagram. I am actually trying to retrofit a Heated Steering Wheel on an A5 SB but I figured there might be more people with an A4 B9 and the wiring will be very similar. I just need to know if there is any special wiring needed to get the Heated Steering wheel fitted, or is it just the case of having the required wheel and the steering wheel stalks control.

What is the part number for stalks for a heated steering wheel with the ALA button on the tip?
I have a 2018 with heated steering wheel (and ALA activated via OBD2), but I want the on/off button on the stalk.
Any info greatly appreciated...thx.

Do you (or does anyone) know if Is this something that can be self-installed? Or is that too dangerous? And do we know that the ALA button will work with a P+ car?

My understanding is that someone on this forum did install this switch and get it working but it was not a trivial task. If you want more information I recommend that you start a separate thread with title specific to the installation of this ALA compatible multifunction switch and ask. I myself am interested in the answer if I decide to keep the car once my lease is up.

I have done it. I wanted to retrofit a Heated Steering Wheel, which needed the stalks changed. I took the oppurtunity to buy the stalks with the ALA button. It's not a difficult retrofit. But you do need to have the ability to reset the Steering wheel angle sensor. And before anyone asks, ODBEleven cannot do it, yet.
