Hello guys, Does anyone knows how to retrofit an Apple car/ Android auto into the B9? Whats the partnumber of the component, and what cable or where pin it? I only want the factory solution.Or if you have the high MMI, then is it enough just to activate it somehow? Thank you!

Sorry, but I'm not understanding. I have a B9 A4 and at least Apple Carplay is automatic through the MMI system. I don't have Android so I don't know. I just plug my iPhone into the USB port, click on Menu and scroll until Carplay comes up. I click on it and choose whatever option is available (Music, Google Maps, etc.) Is it because it is only available in Premium Plus or higher? Not sure why you need to retrofit it?

I may be wrong but i'm pretty sure all B9's come standard with wired carplay and android auto, check if you have "Audi smartphone interface" listed in your menu, you'll have to plug into one of the usb ports in the center console to connect to it. I made mine wireless using an AAWireless adapter which works seamlessly, i'm sure there's something similar for carplay.

Apple Carplay and Android Auto is a standard feature in B9 A4. (Atleast Technik because that's what I have)

Hey guys, thank you for the answer. The Android auto/apple car is not a standard option in the EU. There are 3 different variations, doesn't matter if you have the tech pack here, you have to pay for it too to have it. Under the armrest, a USB port says charge only. In this case, for sure you don't have this feature. The second option, is you have one USB slot, but no text on it. In this case, you have this feature. Third is when you have two USB ports, and one of them knows this feature.
