Can I still use CarPlay with no data plan?

Audi A4 2017, ATT data plan. I hate the Audi Nav system & don't use the other features of the MMI. I use CarPlay for everything (nav, music, podcasts, phone, etc). Can I disconnect the data plan entirely?

Carplay doesn't rely on data from your car at all, only your phone, so yes.

Yes. CarPlay is just a "projection" from your iPhone, your iPhone does all the work. Think of the MMI as only a second screen for your phone. You don't need AudiConnect or anything for CarPlay to work.
