Default Can't get memory seats to work right

I have enabled Driver's Seat in the MMI to allow the seat memory to be tied to the remote. I have set seat memories 1 & 2 on the buttons on the door, but when I lock the car and hit the remote or use the convenience feature, the seats do not move into position.

I have a premium plus and need to know if the chairs are supposed to move when I unlock the doors with the remote.

Am I doing something wrong, or do the seats not move

Works for my P+. Though it will move to the last time position when you used that particular key. Not to position 1 or 2 which you need to long press the 1 or 2 button. Try to exit with one key then press lock button on the key (not on the door handle) to remember the position for that key. Use the second key to mess around a bit and Come back wifh the first key to open the door again. You will notice the seat will move to the 1st key position.

The buttons are not related to the keys. The key just remembers whatever position it was in when that key last locked the car.

Does this mean that using the door handles to lock and unlock will not change the seats but pushing the unlock on the key fob will change the seats?

Nope, you can unlock with door handle and the seat will move to the position you wanted for that key. You do need to lock with that key initially to tie the position to the key and don't need to every time afterwards.

Locking by the door handle will work as well.

Thanks SYMAWD, but it's not working for the second key....Is there something I need to do to get it to work.....I am having a similar issue when I lock the doors, the first key folds the mirrors, but the second key doesn't......it's like the second key is not registering with the car

All settings under the "Vehicle" menu are key specific. You need to go back and change all of those settings for the second key.
