central convience comfort system module faulty or ghost code

replaced gateway mode used part. When using O.D.I.S - online geko accout trying to do component protection, almost completes...but, fails , says that central convience system module could not be opened... the log also states that the control module is faulty and missing message and cp.. there is a technical service bulletin. for my car and year, for the information central , that says to ignore it and it is a ghost code.. or is it because the modle is missing the gateway has not been coded over audi/erwin servers yet. I also have component protection active in dash. or could the module itself be faulty. Every module in the car is saying missing message with new/used gateway module installed. Cp active.
also wanted to get someone to do firmware updates. A million thank you's.
