Discounted Audi extended warranty source?

Discounted Audi extended warranty source?
Apologize if this has been addressed before but could not find it on search.
Looking to buy an extended Audi warranty for a 2017 A4 that is reaching the end of its' original 4 year manufacturer warranty soon.
Can anyone point to a thread where this may have been addressed already, or provide a source for a friendly Finance manager at a car dealership.
Would prefer to buy out of Florida, as Florida dealers are not allowed to discount the warranty and may have to charge sales tax also.
Appreciate any help.

Post #14 has the name and link to fellow I spoke with -- seems like a good guy and straight shooter. I decided to pass on ext. warranty for my A6 and if we buy wife's A4 off the lease I'm also going to take a pass. Worth your while to read the thread in its entirety as it is a good discussion. What made the decision for me was a good look at the contractual exclusions and as a lawyer I am uncomfortable with the vagueness of a couple of them -- read: big escape hatch for insurer to jump into to deny coverage. You may feel differently. What we were discussing was the Fidelity and the Audi branded warranties.
Best,
Jeff

I'm going to give a little bit of advice here but I'm not sure if it helps your situation since you own the vehicle. I leased a 2018 Audi A4 for two years in 2018 because I was looking to get into an S4 in 2020, unfortunately I had some medical issues and chose to buyout my lease.
For those leasing and thinking about buying out their vehicles I have some good news. When buying out your lease you can add the CPO on your vehicle, Just as if you were buying a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from the dealer.
I believe they have a Tier 1 CPO which is 5 years 120,000km, or Tier 2 which is 6 years and 160,000km(From the in service date). I think their is only a $500.00(CDN) difference between both tiers so its really a no brainer if you plan on keeping the vehicle for a longer duration.
So what this essentially means is my A4 which has a "vehicle in service date" of Nov 2018, my warranty will be covered until Nov 2024.
I used to work in the Auto Industry so believe me when I tell you a CPO warranty is much better than getting an extended warranty. An extended warranty is not only more expensive but usually has clauses and exclusions in the contract that you really have to read into to see what's actually covered or not covered.
CPO warranty is basically an extension of the factory warranty from the manufacturer, in this case Audi.
For my next vehicle(S4 or S5) I'm going to lease it for 3-4 years and if I'm happy with the vehicle I will buy it out and keep it for much longer while having peace of mind. The only thing to keep in mind is you must still be covered under the factory manufacturer warranty(4 years 80,000km) to be eligible for the CPO program.

Sol -- thanks for your post. Not sure if this is do-able here in the US but will check with dealer. Great idea and I can't agree with you more regarding the CPO vs. the so-called extended warranties.

Come to thing further about this and all that the CPO here in US would get me if I buy car after the 3 year lease is one year of coverage since I will have the benefit of the 4 year/50K mile new car warranty for the year after buying upon lease expiration. If the car is solid for the next 11 months I will buy it and take my chances.
