I've looked around to find solutions to this issue but haven't been able to find any, I have a 2016 A4 B9 2.0 TDI S-tronic Quattro, I get some weird errors every 2 to 6 months from my dynamic/active steering, sometimes when I am driving, sometimes when I am parking the car. If I stop the engine, close the car for 5 minutes, the errors disappear from the dashboard and the car is running normal again for 2 to 6 months.
I checked my car at 3 different Audi workshops, 2 of them told me that the car has no problem (the errors did not appear when they tested the car), and the other said that the issue might be fixed by replacing the steering system (3000 euros).
If someone had the same or similar problem, how did you fixed it? Below is the scan log from obd11: 1B Active Steering

Well, since active steering option requires a second electric motor(installed on the steering column), and the fault refer to that electric motor, you might try to check that one first.

You could try to dissasemble the existing motor and see what is wrong with it. Some errors are due faulty initialization there. Don't buy anything before you are sure what is wrong with yours.
