Hello! (Total newbie here). I have an Audi A4, 2016, 2.0, mileage 185,000 km. So a few days ago check engine light came up. I have been to 2 services, one says that there is a problem with AdBlue which has caused one of the parts (didn't remember the name) blocked due to AdBlue crystals. A solution that they offer is either changing the part that is blocked or blocking the entire AdBlue system. But before I decided which solution to choose, I went to the local Audi dealer service to do the diagnostics. They convincingly said that the EGR cooler is blocked and should be changed. I asked them is this EGR cooler is blocked due to AdBlue? They answered - no it's not due to AdBlue, and actually there is no specific reason why this EGR cooler blocks. Dealer offers to change EGR cooler for 1,2k Eur. To be honest, I am a little confused now, can someone please tell me if there is a connection between the EGR cooler and AdBlue, can Adblue be the cause of EGR blockage?
