Default Firmware repository

Hi folks, since we've seen an increased interest in updating firmware it would be super useful if members could upload firmware and map files they have to this Google Drive I created. @blue_pond @bruce_miranda I've already downloaded and re-uploaded some files from the previous thread. I am currently uploading 2019/20 map to the repository as well. @bruce_miranda could you upload files to the latest MIB version for B9 with Qualcomm? I think this will be super useful for those who are chasing files around from multiple sources as we can ensure everyone has access to files they need.

instructions on updating MIB2 & VC:

Not mine, but found this on another forum. I shared this to @bruce_miranda some time ago so it may already be in there

I'm uploading the 2020/2021 soon after I compile it. Also in regards to the link I embedded, most of it is beyond just flashing a FW. It's hacking your Audi and there's a high risk of bricking your car.

Awesome find! I will download the entire Audi package, and reupload it according to metadata either this or next weekend.

Sounds good! Also, 2020/2021 map update uploaded. I wasn't able to use that on my A4 since we can only use the 2019/2020 for now*

*I think it's possible to install the 2020/2021 map update if I "hack" the FEC file, but I won't go there for now because I do not have the necessary information. I just have tidbits of info regarding modifying the FEC files.

Sounds good, thank you!

For the Mega upload file - I did some research. It looks like if we create a IFS-Root patch for NA region we would be able to unlock licenses for all maps. I will look into it a little more

I've figured out how to do this. Will go test it in my car. Also through FEC codes we can enable S4 style middle tach on VC. Sending updates soon. Maybe worth a new thread?

Nice! I think for flashing it yeah, worth a new thread. Then we can use the FW Discussion thread for anything general FW discussion
