Question on the 2019-2020 file. Do you have to have the previous version installed to update to the newer file? I tried the 19-20’ file but it didn’t take. However, when I tried the 18-19’ map file it installed with no issues. I have a 2017 PP. Even though I bought it as a certified pre owned. I don’t think it was updated back in Feb, when I got it.

Can someone upload EU maps 2020/2021? I can upload EU 2019/2020

Also I have one question: can I download 2019/2020 maps from myaudi and put on SD card - and than share this SD card with a friend who has also A4 B9 but another MMI version?

Ok, just read the other thread concerning the map updates. Seems that I am out of luck getting the 19'-20' maps. I was getting the same message when trying to update. Oh well, there's always Waze. Thanks for putting this up there for the other members though.

All cars can get 6 map updates, but it doesn't matter if you loaded 6 versions or not, the car will still count the skipped version. So as long as your friend's car is less than about 2.5years old then you can use the same downloaded maps. There is nothing in the map that is specific to a car. Its the car that decides if it will accept the map update or not.

I got 2019 A4 with 2019/2020 map installed and would like to update to 2020/2021. Should copy all the extracted files to USB drive and update or just the Mib2 folder?

Just copy all of them just to be safe. Make sure the folders are in the root location.
