Whenever I turn on my A/C there is a strange, quiet, fluctuating buzzing noise that begins either immediately when turning on A/C, or several seconds later. It's loud enough to hear only when the fan is set to the lowest or 2nd lowest speed. However it is quite audible even with quiet music playing and driving on the road. I've brought it to my dealership and they insist it is normal.

Does anyone have any experience with this sound? It is very annoying.

** It doesn't sound completely like a buzzing noise, almost sounds a bit like gurgling if I had to choose another word to describe it.

I've noticed that as well one or two times when it was very humid outside. Hard to make out though. It sounds like something overcooking behind the dash.

Have the same thing, to me it sounds like a combo of steam escaping or a inconsistent hiss. Other cars I've had with auto climate control made occasional weird noises as well so I figure it's was normal.
