Here's a thought. What if any device previously paired in the MMI list gets an alert when a listed iPhone owner parks, leaves the car and breaks the bluetooth connection? That could explain why remotely located people are getting alerts on their iPhone. Of course that would require use of a cellular signal in the loop.

Haha, thanks! Technically she said that she gets a notification when I park my car. I am not sure if the notification includes my specific location. I have deleted her profile from the Bluetooth connection settings and I will let you know if that stops the notifications.
