I recently bought an RS4 Style grille for my Audi A4 2008 (B8). The grille matched the exact description of my car which is the pre-facelift model. The grille looked fine until I went to fit it and although it aligned with the bumper, the clips which attached to the body of the car were in the wrong position. I have no idea what to do now as I can’t return it (bought from eBay) and I don’t know which model it fits. I have attached photos of the grille I have on this post, if anyone knows which model it fits that would be great help. I also want to wonder if there is any workaround for me or is my best bet to simply go to a trusted seller and pay for the part over the counter. The seller I bought this grille from posted way down in the description to do my own research before purchasing the item so eBay took his side and rejected the return request.
has anyone else ever experienced this issue? I paid quite a lot of money for the grille so if there was a workaround for the clips etc. On it I would like to try that before I’d sell it onto someone else incase they had the same issue as me.
I would suggest posting this on the B8 a4 forum as well. You may have better options available there. Sucks it doesn't work and weren't able to confirm before buying.
Will do mate cheers for the reply, this site isn’t the easiest to navigate so I just started a new thread. Hopefully I get something sorted as the last thing I want is to order another grille and the same thing happens!
