Get familiar with the wheel gap appearance of each. The sport package is basically 1 inch less.
Look at the seats. The non-sport pkg seats are flat. Sport pkg seats have more prominent bolstering on the sides.
If the seats beige it's non-sport pkg.

Sport package cars feel too low when you sit in them; non-sport-package cars are closer to reasonable.
(Actually, in Canada, you can tell the absence of a sport package in the 2017 B9 by noticing the lack of S-Line badging on the car... but I think that stops being true in 2018)
