How to identify Matrix headlights?

At least you have the high beam assist, that uses the camera. It's not the same as the matrix ones, but still a pretty useful optional feature.
If you are not happy with the car and these non-matrix headlights are a deal breaker for you, I am sure you can return the car. I recall the EU has regulation in place for such situations, like what you've described: seller states the car has certain options, when in fact the car does NOT have them. In the worst case they should still be able to provide a comparable replacement.
It usually is not worth changing the headlights in a car, the matrix ones also have the sprinklers which probably are missing from yours, there's some coding involved, the parts are more expensive then they are worth, etc. I'm also in the EU and the Matrix vs Dynamic LED headlights have a premium just under 700 euros. I'm sure the hassle of getting them replaced is a lot more, possibly in the 4-5k euros range with parts and labour included. Not worth it.
