Default License plate frame pics?

Looking to replace my plate frame with something that doesn't provide free advertising for the dealership. Let's see what you guys are rocking!

Options I'm currently considering:
  • Audi genuine slimline frame, either black or silver
  • Something with the Audi Sport logo
  • Something with the quattro logo
  • A faux-carbon fiber frame (because I'm not paying $110+ for the real thing)
  • a frame from a tuner like APR, AWE, etc
  • EDIT: what SYMAWD is doing below, at least for up front
This is going on a Daytona Grey S4.

I always use a plain black urethane frame.

^ That looks great. Added to the list. I think for $5 that is definitely what I will do up front at minimum (2-plate state FTL).

I've been looking at this OEM Audi license plate frame for a while now. Will probably be ordering it soon. Here's a link to the OEM license plate frame https://www.audipartsprime.com/oem/a...p~bracket.htmlhttps://www.audipartsprime.com/oem/a...p~bracket.html

Maybe I'm missing something... but... why do you need a licence plate frame?!

I mean in the spirit of that question, maybe I’m missing something too but why do we need black optic or chrome window trim or expensive machined face alloy wheels or authentic wood grain dash trim or fine nappa leather seats in a variety of colors when cheap plastic, steelies, and city-bus-seat cloth will do? Heck let’s go further... why even paint a car and not just spray it with the cheapest primer the factory can get?

License plate frames provide a more finished look vs exposed stamped-metal edges, can eliminate risk of plates rattling, and offer a degree of instant customization for a very low price that does not affect resale value or warranty in any way.

Have these two on order. Only $10. Will cut down the aluminum screws to fit.

Just a head up, some frames are thick and won't fit, due to back up camera.

I got CF since it matched the spoiler and mirror caps. It's real CF from eBay and it was like 25. I added the center Audi logo originally and just kept adding.

Anything is better than giving the stealership free advertising. I have repurposed my matte black plain BMW frame from my previous car. I do need to get some longer screws since the caps to cover the screw heads can't get put on.
