Lost my 10 digit vehicle code...

As noted by GordyC, Audi today can address the registration impediment. My concern is what happens in 5 years. There should be no requirement to getting a car function properly without invoking a call to Audi, which may or may not be supported in a few years. Audi has a history of abandoning vehicles after 10 years without the slightest hint of regret.

Hi Folks,
I somehow, not sure where when if ever, lost not received who knows, the little plastic scratch off code with the 10 digit MMI ID #!
Is there any way, there must be !?, to get another code from somewhere so I can register as the Key User in my new Audi A4?
Thanks for any help or suggestions...

After purchasing a used '19 e tron I thought my 10 digital MMI ID had been lost by the dealer/previous owner. I happened to find it inside the owner's manual wedged between the spin of the manual and the cover.
Check there as it may be a popular place to store.
