This past week my passenger airbag light will flash on then several minutes later flash off, accompanied by a sound ding and a "Safety System Malfuction" warning on the Virtual Cockpit. Has anyone seen this?

I will bring it in when I get a chance, but it's very annoying. My car's exceeded the 36k mile limit on the warranty, but hopefully with it being a safety system they'll fix it without charge.

Pretty sure there's currently a recall out for this. Just got mine in the mail a couple weeks ago.

I had this issue on my car. They had to replace the passenger seat as the sensor in the mat has gone bad. If you have OBDEleven, you will see the exact issue as mat pressure sensor issue or something similar.

Also these cars have 4year/50K warranty.
