OK, I'll be careful when I'm driving on the spur.

Might be worthwhile to get 4 new tires at that time. When the tire is off the shop (tire or Audi) can tell best if the rim is bend.
I couldn't find anyone to shave a tire when my wife hosed her second tire in less than a year. Luckily no bent rims.

3 tires for me in 1 week.
1 last monday and 2 yesterday. Front blown and back bubble
At least I have the wheel and tire coverage.

I am thinking of tirerack and a cheap winter wheel package.

Wow, that's incredibly bad luck! I'm glad you have coverage. Are you in or near NYC? What tires are you running? Was some of this due to potholes that were covered/hidden by the snow?

I have the 18" rims and the OEM Pirelli Cinturato P7

I am on the Island, the first one, yes it was covered in snow
The one from Monday , no it was just at night on a road with 40mph speed limit, I didn't even see it.

I just hit a pothole last night and lost my front right tire on the DC beltway

I have 8k miles on the car, any thoughts on if I need to replace just the one tire, the front two, or all 4?

‘It is a jungle out there!

how much tread are left on the remaining 3 tires. Quattro needs to keep the circumfrance of the tires within about 3% of each other.

Good question, after 8k miles, I'm guessing it would no longer be in the 3% range. And that is across all 4? Or can I do just the front 2?

I would do all 4. At 8k miles you are probably close to the tipping point unless they are all season tires with a very high mileage warranty

That sounds pretty generous. Assuming a typical tire diameter of 27", that would mean reducing the diameter by 0.81" or the tread depth by 0.4" -- about 13/32".
