Default Significantly better than my B8

Enjoyed the 150 mile drive home from the dealership yesterday. Weather was too bad to push it but it was a nice ride back home.

I echo your sentiments. I've driven the B8 and the B9 is a big step forward. Lovely car it is. The tango red looks lovely.

I had a b8 for 3 years and agree. Driving it is so much more neutral. They really took care of that understeer. It feels almost bmw level neutral. And the dual clutch is a much better transmission than the 6 speed zf I had.

And wow tango red on a loaded car looks great

I drove a friend's 328xi and it just helped me like my car even more. Looks like BMW lost some of its "ultimate driving machine" charm and it has gone into the A4. The steering in the 328i, while heavy, didn't feel as nice as the A4. A4 also turns into corners better and overall, felt better.

I traded a B8.5 S5 for my A4 and it feels better. Maybe just a few seconds slower. I can just imagine how much better it must feel that a B8 A4. Your Tango Red with the 19" wheels is beautiful!

Few seconds slower? I guess you mean milliseconds. Unless you had a monster s5 that did sub-4s 0-60 runs.

Surprised at how nice Tango Red is especially in S-Line and the 19" wheels. Congrats!

It looks lovely actually. I hate red cars but when I went to get my A4, I saw one in tango red but unfortunately, it was the base model. Else I'd probably have got it. But nougat brown was more important to me than the exterior color.

Yes, you're right... milliseconds. S5 is approx. 4.7-4.9 seconds 0-60. A4 is approx. 5.2-5.4 seconds. Really close. Doesn't really feel any different.
